Néstor Pitana is an Argentine football referee who has been active since 2007. He was born on June 17, 1975 in Corpus, Misiones, Argentina. Pitana began his refereeing career in Argentina's lower leagues and quickly rose through the ranks to become a top-tier referee. He has officiated several high-profile matches, including the final of the 2018 FIFA World Cup between France and Croatia. Pitana has also been selected to referee at the 2021 Copa América and the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
